Privacy Policy

Chainbreaker Consulting LLC (“Chainbreaker,” “we,” “us”) operates the website chainbreakerconsulting.com and provides consulting and software services. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your information.

01What we collect

Information you provide

  • Contact information.Name, business name, email, phone, role — when you fill in a form, book a call, or email us.
  • Engagement information.Details about your business, goals, current stack, and pain points — shared during discovery calls, written proposals, or in collaboration tools.
  • Communications. Email threads, in-app chat transcripts (Intercom), and voicemails you send us.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data. Pages viewed, click events, scroll depth, time stamps. Collected via analytics (Vercel Analytics).
  • Device data. IP address, browser type, OS, language, referring URL.
  • Cookies & similar.See “Cookies” below.

Information from third parties

  • Public business sources. When prospecting, we may enrich publicly available business contact information from data providers.
  • Calendly. When you book a call, Calendly shares the meeting time, your name, email, and any answers you provided to scheduling questions.

02How we use information

  • To respond to inquiries and run consulting engagements;
  • To provide and improve our software products;
  • To deliver customer support (email, Intercom);
  • To send you service notices and (with consent) updates;
  • To monitor security and prevent fraud;
  • To comply with law and respond to lawful requests.

03How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share data only as described below.

  • Service providers / sub-processors. Vendors that run our infrastructure on our behalf, including: Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database for our software products), Stripe (payments), Calendly (scheduling), Intercom (in-app messaging), Resend (transactional email), HighLevel (CRM for our software products), Twilio (telephony for our software products), and similar infrastructure partners.
  • Legal compliance. When required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
  • Business transfers. In a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality.
  • Aggregated / de-identified data. Data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

04Cookies & tracking

We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies (local storage, pixels) to keep you signed in to product dashboards, remember preferences, and understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect functionality.

05Outbound communications

If you receive a cold email, SMS, or call from us as part of our own outreach (or from a customer using our software), it was sent in compliance with applicable law including the CAN-SPAM Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and state “mini-TCPA” laws where applicable. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, clicking unsubscribe, or emailing alex@chainbreakerconsulting.com.

06Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide services and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

07Your rights

U.S. residents (CCPA / CPRA and similar state laws)

Depending on your state, you may have the right to: know what personal information we collect; access or receive a copy; correct inaccuracies; delete; opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. EEA / UK residents (GDPR / UK GDPR)

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

08Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information — encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege provisioning. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we learn of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.

09International transfers

We are based in the United States. If you access our services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate transfer mechanisms.

10Children

Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Effective” date.
